Our story

Independent brewing on the Brighton seafront since 2011.

Mods & Hoppers began as a three-barrel railway arch brewery and now supplies more than 140 venues across the South East with Seagull IPA, Pebble Lager, Pier Pressure Pale, and Kemptown Krush.

Born by the sea

Mods & Hoppers started with a tiny pilot kit, a shared love of hop-forward beer, and a determination to make something that felt unmistakably Brighton. The first brews went out to local pubs in 2011; the range has grown since, but the restless small-batch spirit has stayed put.

Today our brewers balance dependable core beers with seasonal releases inspired by the city around us. Labels borrow from gig posters, scooter culture, and the colour of the seafront, while every recipe is built to earn its place at the bar.

We brew for pubs, bottle shops, events, and people who like their beer fresh, characterful, and a little unexpected. Meet the people behind the pints.
